NICPS

Nibbana’s integrated course on psychotherapy skills

Nibbana’s integrated course on psychotherapy skills is a first of its kind program in India for senior counselors and advanced therapists. Combining and integrating various schools of psychotherapy NICPS is a robust program designed to build the therapist’s confidence and competence in handling a variety of client presenting issues and facilitate healing and change.

The year-long program is designed and open only for practitioners who have a minimum of 150 client hours and have an advanced level training in any school of psychology. Basic counseling skills is a must to attend this program.

Participants will learn multiple models and approaches to therapy and more importantly learn how to use these models to resolve client issues. In this integrative approach, the various models are used as a resource to resolve issues rather than using the model as a window or framework to view the client’s issues. Here, the client’s needs are more important than any single school of thought. In short, counsellors will learn to put client first rather than any school or model. This program will focus on developing a relational base and gaining perspective on the importance of integrating top-down and bottom-up issue-based approach to healing and change.
